Your Tattoo at Sanctuary

Everything You Need to Know

  • To book a tattoo at Sanctuary, you will first need to submit a Tattoo Request Form. Our artists review these forms on a monthly basis so, you can expect to hear back from us about your design in the first week of the next month, to book your appointment for the following month. For example, if you submit your request during the month of June, you will be contacted in early July to schedule your appointment for August.

We ask that you submit your requests only once you are confident in your design idea and are ready to book your appointment.

  • We have a shop minimum of $150 for fine line tattoos, no matter how small. That price will increase depending on the size and complexity of your design. Once your Tattoo Request Form has been submitted, your artist will provide an accurate quote.

In order to book your appointment, we require a non-refundable deposit of $50 or $100 (dependent on your quoted price), which will be applied to your total at checkout.

Tattoos quoted for under $300 will require a deposit of $50. Tattoos quoted at over $300 will require a deposit of $100.

  • Yes. All tattoo bookings require a deposit of either $50 or $100 to secure the appointment. Your deposit cost is based on the quoted price of your tattoo. If the tattoo is quoted under $300, the deposit is $50. If quoted at over $300, the deposit is $100.

All deposits will be applied towards your total at checkout on the day of your appointment.

Deposits are a non-refundable, good-faith agreement, that let us know you are serious about our session and are respectful of our time.

  • If you need to reschedule your appointment, please text or email ‍us at least 48 hours in advance.

If the appointment is canceled within 24 hours of your scheduled time, you will be charged for 50% of your service cost to the card on file.

  • Our design process begins with your Tattoo Request Form. We encourage you to include as much detail as possible about what you’re envisioning, along with any reference photos. The more inspiration and direction you provide, the better your artist can bring your idea to life! Your artist will thoughtfully review all of your details while creating a fully custom design tailored to you.

At the start of your appointment, we’ll have a brief consultation to review the design together and make any small adjustments needed before moving on to find the perfect placement.

There is no need to feel nervous - our artists are highly talented professionals, and we are confident you’ll fall in love with your design.

We recommend browsing our artists’ portfolios prior to submitting your Tattoo Request. Choosing an artist whose style you already know you love is the best way to ensure your final design feels like the perfect fit!

  • It is critical that you follow aftercare guidelines to ensure proper healing of your new tattoo!

You should plan to avoid sun exposure and swimming or excessive sweating for 2 weeks following your appointment. Please keep this in mind when selecting your appointment date!

Your artist will walk you through an aftercare routine at the conclusion of your appointment, as well as provide ointment and written instructions to take home.

  • All tattoos done at Sanctuary include a complimentary touch up session, at least 6 weeks after your initial appointment.

To book, text or email us a clear photo of your tattoo so that your artist can confirm if you are ready.

  • We make every effort to accomodate friends or family wanting to have their tattoos done alongside one another or back to back. If you wish to book with others, please be sure to include their name when submiting your personal Tattoo Request Form. Each person wanting a tattoo must submit their own request form.

If you have a group of 5 or more people wanting to get tattoos together, we would love to help you with hosting a private Tattoo Party! Fill out our Party Request Form to get started.

  • We will not tattoo anyone under the age of 18, even with parental consent.

  • No, we cannot tattoo you while you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Enjoy this precious time and come see us when you’re ready!

Hi, I’m Lindsay.

Lindsay is the founder and owner of Sanctuary, with over 20 years in the beauty industry. She began her career in esthetics in 2005, building a strong foundation in skin health and client care. In 2018, after becoming certified in microblading, she discovered her passion for cosmetic tattooing—blending her knowledge of skin with her natural artistic talent.

Lindsay has completed advanced training in brows, eyeliner, and lips, specializing in natural, timeless results designed to age beautifully. In 2020, she expanded into traditional tattooing, embracing it as a creative extension of her lifelong love of art.

She especially enjoys tattooing script, botanical designs, soft hand-poked pieces, and detailed pet or stuffed animal portraits - meaningful work with a touch of the unexpected!

Steff is a fine line and illustrative tattoo artist and Junior Brow Artist, native to the Lehigh Valley. She has been tattooing for 3 years and over the last year has been branching into permanent makeup and freckles. She is also actively working towards adding paramedical tattooing to her list of services (like areola restoration and scar camouflaging).

Art has always been her way of understanding and connecting. As a tattoo artist with a background in Art Therapy, she is passionate about creating meaningful work that supports healing, self-expression, and personal growth. It’s important for her to hold space that is supportive and comfortable.

The styles she enjoys tattooing the most are narrative/illustrative, whimsical, boho/ornamental, and script.

Hi, I’m Steff.
