To book a private tattoo party, we require a $200 Booking Fee to reserve the space.
From there, the rest is up to you! Our most popular party style is that each attendee pays for their own tattoo at the end of the event. Tattoo pricing depends on each guest's requested design. Every attendee will receive an estimated quote before the event, and guests will pay for their own tattoos at the conclusion of the party.
If you’d prefer to play host of the year, you can cover the cost of the tattoos for your guests!Private tattoo parties require a minimum of 5 tattoos to be complete, with a maximum of 15. If you reserve a party and less than 5 tattoos are done, we will charge for the missed minimum requirement, based on our shop minimum of $150 per tattoo.

A $200 booking fee is required to reserve your party date. This fee is separate from the cost of your guests' tattoos and is not applied toward tattoo services.

We understand that plans can change! If you cancel your party at least 30 days before the event, your $200 booking fee will be refunded in full. Cancellations made less than 30 days before the event are nonrefundable.
If Sanctuary needs to cancel your event, any funds you've paid toward the event will be refunded.

Once your party booking is confirmed, we'll send the host a link to share with guests who plan to get tattooed. Each guest will use the form to submit their design inspiration and ideas ahead of time, helping our artists prepare for your party. It's an easy way to get everyone excited and give our team a head start on planning your group's tattoos! Design forms are due back to us no later than 2 weeks prior to your event.
We encourage you to include as much detail as possible about what you’re envisioning, along with any reference photos. The more inspiration and direction you provide, the better your artist can bring your idea to life! Your artist will thoughtfully review all of your details while creating a fully custom design tailored to you.

Yes! Each party requires a minimum of 5 tattoos, with a maximum of 15 tattoos performed during the event. If fewer than 5 tattoos are completed, the party host is responsible for paying the $150 shop minimum for each tattoo below the required minimum.

Private tattoo parties accommodate 5–15 tattoos, with a maximum of 30 guests total. Friends and family who aren't getting tattooed are welcome to join the fun, too!

Absolutely! You're welcome to bring your own food and beverages for your group. We will provide plates, cups, utensils, and napkins to make hosting a little easier.

Yes! Approved decorations are welcome. Just be sure to check with our team about your decoration plans ahead of time.

Yes. We will not tattoo anyone under the age of 18, even with parental consent.

No, we cannot tattoo you while you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Enjoy this precious time and come see us when you’re ready!

It is critical that you and your guests follow aftercare guidelines to ensure proper healing of your new tattoo!
You should plan to avoid sun exposure and swimming or excessive sweating for 2 weeks following your appointment. Please keep this in mind when selecting your appointment date!
Your artist will walk you through an aftercare routine at the conclusion of your appointment, as well as provide ointment and written instructions to take home.
